Whirlwind Weekend!

This weekend was crazy - we had several super cool things scheduled for both Saturday & Sunday. Unfortunately...Tim & I are both really sick so that didn't really help, but we tried to make the best of it and still had a great weekend. We went to the doctor today and hopefully will be fully recovered in a few days. Here is a quick review of what we were up to :).

Behind the scenes action shot from Caroline & Daniel's engagement shoot. There were only a few people in Central Park with us on Saturday :). Full post coming this week!

Here we are!

This winery was a hidden gem that we found yesterday - we have been to most of the wineries in our area, but this was the first time we made it down to this one (but definitely not the last time). Thanks to my mom-in-law for the birthday gift!

And, lastly, a preview of Stephanie & Ed's wedding! Check back tomorrow for more images from their wedding!

Shower Details

I took a bunch of images at my friend Sandy's bridal shower this past weekend - the decorations were all done by her mother and sister and I thought maybe they would provide some non-floral inspiration to my 2009 & 2010 red brides!

Manhattan Neighborhoods Reception

The opening night reception for the new PWP Exhibition: Manhattan Neighborhoods was great! There was a super turnout (I mean, when I got there, you couldn't even move - it was that crowded!) and the show selections and design were awesome. I brought my mom and Tim with me and even remembered to bring my camera so I could show the blogworld some photos from the night :). I only put on my fisheye because it was such a tight squeeze in there, and while it worked great to capture the scene, you must forgive the circular look on every.single.image.

I absolutely love sunny winter days. My mom and I took the commuter train into the city and this was the view along the Hudson River.

That's my mom trying to find my bio in the book - I think she might already know what it says :) IMG_7834_SMALL

There was an awesome view of Manhattan from the gallery (which is downtown and adjacent to the Office of the Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer). I don't get down there all that often, it was awesome! If anyone wants to do their engagement session down there, it would be perfect. This photo also shows my continued obsession with reflections...

Manhattan Neighborhoods Show

One of my photographs from this post will be included in an upcoming show in NYC. The show runs from February 1st through the 27st and will be held at the Office of Scott M. Stringer, Manhattan Borough President. If you are interested in checking it out, you can find out the rest of the details here. The topic is great and it should be a really cool exhibition.

Local Color

Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Since fall is pretty much over (we had some snow today!), I thought I would post a few photos of our fall here in NY. It was gorgeous this year and lasted longer than usual. Check out a few of my favorites.

[taken while driving :); probably not the best idea]

Action: Ariel!

Tim and I checked out my cousin Ariel's soccer game in New Jersey last week - she was amazing! Their team won (7-1) and Ariel scored 2 of the goals! Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Dusk Party @ Cielo

2 weeks ago Tim dj'ed with Lance Jordan at the Dusk Recordings 3-year Anniversary Party at Cielo in New York City. It was awesome and the place was packed! On a Tuesday! Cielo is one of the best club/lounges in the city - if you like good music, definitely put it on your list of stops to make in NYC. Check out the flyer and some photos I took at the party...
