Wedding: Mercedes & Mike

I was so excited for this wedding! I met Mercedes & Mike just about 2 years ago and have been hearing about all their plans ever since. Mercedes and I have a similar love for the color moss green :) and all sorts of homemade/etsy-type wedding decor, so we definitely hit it off from the beginning! Plus, talk about an awesome ceremony location!! These guys decided, somewhat late in the game, to change their ceremony location to the Connecticut Old State House - a completely gorgeous historic site in Hartford, CT (not that the original location (Elizabeth Park) was so bad!). Great reception location as well - the Pond House Cafe grows their produce on-site and even makes their own ketchup (thanks for the info Mercy!). I'm sure they are dying to see a few photos so enough chatting, onto my favorites!

This photo below is pretty cool - the marble circle/star they are sitting on is the exact center of the city and one of the reasons they chose the State House. Really cool.

Mike's mom made the cake - pretty talented! The small green swirls are mini-cupcakes.
