John and Kimberly got ready in separate houses, but they were pretty close together in distance, so Tim headed over to John's house to get the guys in action while I stayed at Kimberly's with the ladies. There are always so many great shots from that part of the day and it really is one of my favorite times of the wedding day - lots of excitement and anticipation and beautiful details (of course). The guys are always relaxing and hanging out before the wedding while the girls spend hours getting dressed - John and his crew didn't disappoint!
Thanks for a great day guys - hope you had a blast in the Bahamas!
So, we took all of our photos at the Grandview...and the girls talked their way onto a docked boat! Awesome.
Love all the nude patent heels!
I love this photo - you can see the rain creeping up on us! This is the exact moment when someone looked up, saw that, and we began to make our way off the boat and dock...
The rain stopped...and we got to come back outside for more portraits. I was about to be really disappointed if we had to take the bride + groom photos inside (although I probably would have grabbed an umbrella!) because I love the outdoor spaces at the Grandview.
