Engagement: Melissa + Jonathan | Norwalk, CT

Well, we waited a long while to take these photos, 3 or 4 scheduled sessions and rain..every.single.time. Hurricane Irene hit CT pretty hard and just a few days before our last scheduled date -- took down portions of the dock where we planned to shoot and the power at Melissa and Jonathan's house. We had planned to go out on Jonathan's boat, and I really wanted it to be a nice day. Not a half nice day, or an overcast day, but a perfect day and we did it! They were troopers (they got ready at their gym!) and I'm so happy we didn't let the weather stop us from shooting (again).

    These are GORGEOUS! I mean look at the sky! beautiful couple too! I love the first boat picture the best! Can't wait to see their wedding photos! Great job Jade!

    Great photos... a beautiful couple. I love how her sun dress goes with the nautical theme, too! Gorgeous sunset and the reflection on the water. Great job, Jade!!
