Wedding: Emily & Simon

Ok, so I have had this post in the works for about two weeks now - choosing the photos took me forever. It always does, but the pressure was really on here! Haha, kidding (sort of)! Tim and I were lucky enough to get to know Emily and Simon pretty well during the wedding planning process and we really hit it off, but...then they went and left us to move to England for the year. Can you believe them? Seriously. Because of that, I made them wait just a little longer while I narrowed down my favorites (I kid, I kid...). But really, if they want to be friends, they are just going to have to know that my quest for perfection is part of my personality - good things take time :).

These two are really wonderful - funny, happy, and adventurous - I'm happy to call them friends and so excited to show a sneak peek of their wedding at Le Chateau! Enjoy guys!

Love Emily's shoes - she got them in Thailand! Emily and Simon quit their jobs last year and traveled the world for a year before the wedding (I told you they were awesome.)

Tim shot this and it is one of my favorites.




First dance is always one of my favorite times of the day. Le Chateau is very dark inside and I love the moody vibe that it gives the photos.

The rest of the night was filled with toasts, laughter and more dancing!

Wedding: Gregg & Paul

Gregg & Paul were married a few days ago at Le Chateau in South Salem, NY - it was our first time there and we loved it! What a cool venue - old historical stone building with gorgeous grounds and some European flair mixed in. Gregg & Paul threw a great party - everyone danced their hearts out and we captured all the fun on camera :). We hope you guys are having a blast out in Napa and hopefully you have internet access so you can check out a few of my favorites!

I have a lot of party pics to post today, so I'm going to skip the getting ready photos and get right to the ceremony. I love these two photos of Gregg & Paul signing their marriage certificates - I'm not always around to photograph this part of the day, so this was really cool for us.

Gregg made this wish tree herself - pretty cool right? We should get her on here with a tutorial and/or online sources :)
