Featured: Westchester Weddings

Good morning and Happy 2016!!  I have been a bit blog-absent in recent days, but I have a ton of things to share with you all.  Coming very shortly - a few more weddings, lots of engagement shoots, some new website details (!!!), couple of features and a very big announcement.  Whew!  So psyched for it all.

Monday Updates!!

Good morning guys!  I'm up and at em early today and back with a new and juicy installment of Monday Updates!  First up, I have to post a sneak peek photo from Liz + Fred's wedding this past weekend....(I already posted some teasers from Sammie + Brian's wedding - you can see those here!).

And, here we all are! (can someone please tell me why my eyes can't stay open the same amount when I'm smiling??!!)

Some randomness from my week.  And, yes, that bottom lefthand photo is when Sophie decided to put yogurt all over herself :)


Thought I would show you guys a guestbook in action (these are from Casey + Connor's wedding last weekend) - these guestbooks are one of my most favorite things.  They come out so gorgeous and people just love to check them out at weddings.  Engagement sessions make the wedding day flow so much better too - you don't realize how useful it is to 'get used' to have your photo taken!

I also used the guestbook for a ring photo :)

Thought you guys might like this.  I found this freebie on the web a few weeks ago - cool, right?!  And free.  They have all the states and are perfect for a wedding or art wall or whatever. You could jazz them up with some names or a date, or a [here is the state we met] + [here is the state we got married in] type thing for a wedding.  Download whatever ones you like right here.

Oh yeah - I almost forgot!  Westchester Weddings Magazine selected Samara + Brian's wedding as their June Wedding of the Month!!  How cool is that!  Drop by and leave them some love if you have a moment :)

After a crazy week, we took yesterday off and hit the beach with Soph. She had a great time and so did we - here are a few pics. Gotta love the expressions on this kid.

Featured: Bijou

We are so excited to be featured in the premiere issue of the new online wedding magazine, Bijou!  The magazine is gorgeous and is filled to the brim with great wedding ideas and inspiration - definitely check it out - you'll find lots of familiar faces and photos :).

Monday Updates (a little late...)!

Hey everyone!  Sorry for the late Monday update today, but it was the best I could do - and I'm definitely in the camp of better late, than never, right?  You can see the reason for my tardiness above :).  Tim and I are feverish working on our new website, and with that, some blog updates!  Yes.  The new header is the first and that actually still being tweaked, but I thought I would put it up and get the new look underway.  I really want the blog to be more like a working notebook, so I plan on changing the header photos often  A new header was LONG overdue, I know. 

We also switched to FB timeline this week.  Did you like that header?  I like the header and look of the page a lot, not positive if I like how the posts come up yet.  Sort of complicated.  If you are not already, follow us here!


We were featured on Style Me Pretty this morning too, which is always fun.  Stay tuned for a lot of features by different websites/blog/vendors in the coming months - we shoot so many awesome weddings, definitely want other people to see them!

Tim and I went out with some of our friends on Saturday night - I won't give too many details, but I think these two photos say more than I ever could. 


I have been working on a new album design guide and a bunch of new products - check out some of these new album cover materials!  So cool.  I keep meaning to do a post on albums, but something else always comes up.  Promise to post some album photos soon - so many gorgeous ones have gone out to clients!

What a great way to start the week!  Meredith & Eric's wedding has been featured over on Style Me Pretty New York!  Such a gorgeous website and love the post - thanks ladies! Back later on with the Monday update :).

300th Post + Featured!

Wow, 300 posts! Awesome. And a great day to post some of the advertisements and blogs that we have been featured in lately :).

First up - Meredith & Eric's Bronx Zoo wedding was featured on the Glamour Magazine's wedding blog! Great article too!


A photo from their wedding was also featured in the BizBash National Venue Guide for the Bronx Zoo. Cool, huh? (our photo is the top right one!)


Then, the photos from Samara & Brian's wedding were used in an awesome advertisement for Lola's Cafe & Gourmet Catering (love love Lola's - they catered our wedding!) in Hudson Valley Magazine.


And, lastly for today :), Elements florals used a photo from Katrina & Tim's gorgeous wedding for their ad in the 2012 Grace Ormonde New England edition. Love that magazine (our photo is the bottom one - Elementz created the amazing lantern pathway)!
