Engagement: Andrea + Dan | Rye Town Park, Rye, NY

Well, we started out this session with Andrea and Dan wanting some photos on the beach.  Since they live in California, our timing for the session was limited and the closest 'beach' to them in New Jersey was something in Westchester.  So, we picked the Rye Town Park - we got there and...the beach was closed.  As in locked.  All entrances.  And that was probably because,... it was about to pour.  Double whammy :).  I had checked the weather and it looked not so terrible (you know, the typical 20-30% chance, etc. etc.), but today was the day that the forecasters were right!  We got about a half hour before it came down, but these guys were awesome!  We found some nooks and crannies to hang out in, ran through the raindrops (I love how you can see some rain on Andrea's sweater in some photos) and then waited it out until some gorgeous sun peeked through!  Something a little different and I love it.  Thanks for an awesome time guys and can't wait to see you this weekend!!

Engagement: Courtney + Robert | Croton Point Park, NY

You can just see the love in these photos :).  These make me so happy on this gray morning.

I met with Courtney and Rob a few weeks ago and it was a pleasure to walk and talk and play with their super cute pup.  This time of year is so gorgeous - nice and sunny with perfect golden light, but not too hot or cold.  Awesome weather for exploring a new park (they introduced me to Croton Point Park - nice spot!), definitely have to take Sophie there.  Their wedding is under a month away and I know its going to be a great day!  Check out some of my many (many) favorites...

Engagement: Jessica + Jaime | Rye Town Park

There are some days where the light is just perfect! I love the light in these pics, there was soft, warm light and some cool shadows around too. Lucky for us, we decided to reschedule our original session date because it was during that crazy week of all rain. I'm so happy we didn't try to fit it in between storms! The location Jessica selected was perfect for a nice, sunny afternoon - especially with the beach. I love that you can see Rye Playland in the background of the last photo too. Jessica + Jaime - thanks for a great afternoon, it was great getting to know you guys better and I can't wait for the wedding (coming up really soon!). Hope you like the favorites I selected!





These are all my favorites, but this is one of my favorites from the whole year. Love it.
