Engagement: Jessica + Joe (+2) | Bear Mountain State Park, Hudson Valley, New York

I love these photos.  I've shot at Bear Mountain tons of times, and it is always fun for me to walk around and challenge myself to find some new light or a new tucked away spot.  It wasn't hard with Jessica and Joe - we started out doing some family photos with their little girl and new (and tiny!) baby.  So cool to document families - they change so quickly.  After the kids were sick of that :), I spent some time with Jessica and Joe alone and love the results.  Check out a few of my favorites below, it was hard to narrow it down!  They are getting married at the Round House at Beacon Falls this fall (one of the best venues around), it is going to be awesome.  Have a great afternoon everyone!

Portrait: Svea

Some of you might remember Addy & Aaron's amazing wedding (if not, check it out!), I definitely do and it was a great day.  I was beyond excited when Addy told me they were having a little one and asked me to come over to photograph her.  We weren't sure if the timing was going to work out with my new little guy (post coming soon!), but since he came a little early, we were good to go and I was off to meet the adorable Svea!  And as expected....she was a perfect subject :).

I love spending the morning meeting a new little guy, especially when he is the new little addition to one of my favorite couples, Kim & John.  So awesome being a part of the next chapter.   He is completely adorable, and, check out some of his expressions (pretty cute and pretty amazing for a week old!). So many congratulations guys, thanks for having me over!

Good morning everyone!  I'm so excited to share some photos of the adorable Sophia this morning! Jen + Jason (of former wedding fame!) welcomed this little girl into their family a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to take her picture!  She was so great for us - a little awake time, spent some time outside, and even slept a bit towards the end - just a perfect little lady :).  So good to see you guys again - hope you love these (and put them in the baby book!!!)!

Portrait: Miles

Oh, how I love these photos.  Miles is the sweetest little boy and he was so good for his session!  I don't think he even made a peep at all until towards the end (and even then, it was a tiny peep).  I had a great time getting to know him and hanging with his awesome parents - and, since its Friday and I know they are excited for these photos, I'm not going to ramble on any longer.  Happy weekend everyone! 

(On a quick side note, I love when parents purchase a few special things before a baby photo session!  I think it really customizes the session towards you and your family, rather than just me bringing a bunch of 'props'.  I'd much rather use things that are meaningful to you and your family and your house - makes memories!  And with that, how cute is the hat that Mallory bought for Miles??)
