Wedding: Joanna + Colin | West Point, New York

The winter is finally here - its freezing and snowing and raining, but...I bet all of my November couples are not complaining because they had gorgeous weather! November was a great month for weddings this year - we were able to get great outdoor shots without anyone freezing too badly :). Joanna and Colin currently live outside the US and came back to West Point for their wedding - it was a great day and I have a ton of favorite photos - check them out! Loving the black & whites today...



One of my goals this past year was to up the creativity of my getting ready and accessories shots -- I always have a very limited timeframe to shoot these and it is a challenge to think 'out of the box' in just a few minutes. I'm really happy with my results and the shots that I created this year. Loving the jewelry shots especially.

I've shot at this church before, but I thought it was neat that this time, their families filled the gallery space up on the alter - so, after they were married, they immediately walked through a sort-of corridor of their families before walking down the long aisle. So cool!
