Engagement: Allison + Bob | Harkness Memorial State Park, Waterford, CT

Gorgeous, gorgeous spot.  Popular spot too, but for good reason, it is the perfect place to wander around and take photos, especially of a great couple like Allison and Bob.  My kind of couple - comfortable, happy, laughing and smiling.  Perfect!  I had a great afternoon with them at Harkness and I'm so excited to share these photos with them today!

Engagement: Athina + Rob | Harkness Memorial State Park, Connecticut

I love winter engagement sessions.  I really do.  Its something different, I love the blueish tint to the sky and its fun to have a warm drink after...BUT, this day, it.was.cold.  The wind off the water at Harkness was whipping and it was a little colder than I would have preferred, and probably a little colder than Athina would have preferred, ha!  Athina and Rob were total troopers though and made it happen - and looked gorgeous in the process.  I'm so excited for their wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard this summer!  Hope you all are keeping warm in this never-ending winter!!!

Engagement: Lindsay + James | Harkness Memorial State Park, CT

Love this session! It has taken me a bit of time to post this as I'm trying my best to get most client work done before the holidays arrive, but I wanted to post this for Lindsay because I know she is beyond excited (Lindsay, be excited, your full gallery is up as well!)! I had a great time meeting these guys at Harkness Park (which is an incredibly gorgeous location) on an early Sunday morning, something I don't do very often. I usually prefer afternoon light, but I loved, loved this bright, early morning light for a change. The photos are just so happy and glowing - love it. So excited for their 2012 wedding in Mystic!
