Engagement: Athina + Rob | Harkness Memorial State Park, Connecticut

I love winter engagement sessions.  I really do.  Its something different, I love the blueish tint to the sky and its fun to have a warm drink after...BUT, this day, it.was.cold.  The wind off the water at Harkness was whipping and it was a little colder than I would have preferred, and probably a little colder than Athina would have preferred, ha!  Athina and Rob were total troopers though and made it happen - and looked gorgeous in the process.  I'm so excited for their wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard this summer!  Hope you all are keeping warm in this never-ending winter!!!

Engagement: Leslie + Alex | Waveny Park, New Canaan, CT

My first engagement session of the season!  Woo hoo!  Bring on 2013 weddings!  Leslie and Alex were really tough, and willing to brave the frigid weather for these shots (they even took their coats off!).  I think it paid off :) (and the snow at the end was a bonus!).  Love this location too - the winter landscape was gorgeous and felt really New England/Northeast to me, which was the look they were going for.  You can tell how much these two like each other by the way they look at each other and that makes me so happy and excited to shoot their wedding in Westport this spring!
