Engagement: Samantha + Mike | Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, New York

After getting plagued by rain and schedules, I was so happy to meet up with Samantha & Mike!  Sam had picked Ward Pound Ridge, which was gorgeous, and we had a perfect, sunny summer evening.  These guys are fun and easy-going, just my kind of couple :).  Their wedding is in just a few weeks and I can't wait to see them all dressed up!  Enjoy some of my favorites guys!  Thanks for a great time.

Wedding: Emi + Andrew | The Fountainhead, New Rochelle, NY

So, you should definitely be just a little jealous of these two.  They got married in Hawaii and then were lucky enough to have a second reception in New York for their family and friends that couldn't make it out to the island wedding.  How awesome is that?  We had the good fortune to capture a few moments with them here in NY (somehow we missed the plane to Hawaii :) - where they had a blast celebrating for the second time!

Engagement: Katie + Mike | Muscoot Farm, Somers, New York

I can't promote engagement sessions enough - there is nothing better to prepare you for your wedding day photos.  It makes the wedding run smoother, we already know each other, you will be so (SO!) much more relaxed, all with the bonus that you'll have some cool photos to show for it.  I know it can be difficult to plan due to all the schedules involved and limited time off work and weather and etc, etc, etc., but sometimes you should just trust the opinion of the professional you hired (me!).  And I say, do it!  Unless there is some crazy reason you don't want to do one, do an engagement session.  Trust me, you won't regret it - its easy and fun, I swear. 

Katie and Mike are super relaxed, which I love, and as predicted, we had a fun and easy time hanging out at Muscoot Farm.  I will admit that the atmosphere was a bit louder than I remember from the last time I was there (maybe the animals were having some kind of spring fever?), but it didn't seem to bother Katie and Mike at all :).  Here are a few of my favorites, and more to come from their wedding very soon!

Engagement: Kelly + Tom | Muscoot Farm + a Private Estate, Somers, NY

Kelly and Tom hit the ball out of the park with this session!  Kelly planned a little tour for us - first, Muscoot Farm, which was so adorable.  Then, we stopped at a little hidden location (with boats!), and then a gorgeous private estate (Kelly got permission from the owner to shoot there!)!  All within 10 minutes from each other, and all perfect.  When I shot this session, I knew that I loved the photos, but as I was editing, I become in love with them - I have about 50 serious favorites!  Since that was just too many to post, here are a few that I'm currently coveting.

Engagement: Alyssa + Rich | Rockwood Park, Tarrytown, NY

I'm giving away a secret here.  Awesome location alert.  Its gorgeous, big, near the river, and empty!  Good luck trying to find the entrance though :).  Ha.  I was so happy to meet up with Alyssa and Rich for their engagement session - they used to go to this park a lot so it was a natural spot for their shoot.  We had a gorgeous day and beautiful light and I'm hoping for the same at their wedding in a few weeks!  Can't wait guys!
