Engagement: Anna + Jimmy | Cove Island Park, Stamford, CT

I've been waiting for the perfect day to post this session and today is it!  A snowy Saturday - we've been in the house all day and I can't think of a better time to look at some of my favorite engagement photos from this year.  I.love.these.  Seriously, Anna, Jimmy and I had a great time walking around (can't wait for their wedding next year!!) and absolutely perfect weather.  Check out the sunset:

Engagement: Samantha + Tom | South Street Seaport, New York City

I hadn't been down to the Seaport in a really long time, really long.  We used to go all the time when I was a kid and when I lived in the city, but since, I almost forgot about it.  And, I definitely had no clue (again, I have no idea why) as to the all the damage it incurred with Hurricane Sandy!  But, I'm here to say, the Seaport is back and bustling with so many fun things to see and places to walk and shops to visit!  I had an absolute blast with Sam and Tom just walking around, checking everything out and taking fun shots of them.  I'm really pumped for their wedding next year at the Grandview!  It is going to be a fun night for sure!!

Engagement: Deirdre + Nick | Norwalk, Connecticut

I love shooting in Connecticut.  Spending an afternoon with fun people on a nice day by the water always sounds like a good time to me! Pretty perfect actually, except maybe for the missing lobster roll and cold beverage :).  Some photographers don't prefer to shoot engagement sessions, but I love them - getting comfortable in front of the camera is the best thing (in my opinion) that you can do for your wedding photos.  And...the photos are so much fun - love the results of this shoot.  Can't wait for the Deirdre & Nick's big day later this summer!

Engagement: Brittany + Aaron | Essex, CT

Ok, two things for this Friday.  Or three.  First is, this weather is killing me today.  Cancelled engagement session (last year, I had one engagement session that we rescheduled 4x for weather!  Hi Melissa!). 

But, on a brighter note, since it is Friday and since their wedding is next week (!!!), I am so excited to post Brittany and Aaron's engagement photos today.  I had the best time with them and we had the most beautiful sunset I've seen in awhile.  Essex is just the cutest little town and I can't wait to head back there for the wedding.  Happy Friday everyone!  I'm crossing my fingers for some sun :).

The photo on the left is probably my favorite pic I've ever taken with a dog! I just love it.
