Engagement: Alyssa + Fred | Gantry Plaza State Park, Long Island City

I just love being back shooting.  Even in the rain. I had plans to meet up with Alyssa and Fred at Gantry Park (such a cool spot), but on my way in, it was really dark and starting to rain.  I almost turned around because there is no cover at the park at all, but since everyone already had the day off of work, we decided to make a go of it.  And, if you can believe it, as I pulled up, my darksky app told me that we would have a solid hour rain-free!  What??  It was still cold, and sort of damp and dark, but it was not raining and that was good enough. One dog, a cute couple, and an awesome hat later, we were golden and the proof is below.  LOVE these shots. Can't wait to shoot more of these two this fall!

Engagement: Lindsay + Will | Central Park, New York City

So, I'm pretty much in love with Lindsay and Will.  Is that wrong :)?  They are an awesome, fun, smart pair and I had a blast walking around Central Park with them, even if I did get 1 (ok, almost 2) parking tickets.  I even got to photograph them on their adorable and decently-sized outdoor balcony (deck?  patio? outdoor space?).  So awesome.  Who needs an apartment when you have an oversized balcony in NYC? You could easily just grab a sleeping bag and move out there (note to their friends).  Anyway, we had a great time and I cannot wait for their big day next year!  Hope you love these guys!

Engagement: Jessica + Liam | South Street Seaport, New York City

Love this session!  Jess and Liam killed it with their look - I mean, Jess, the dress!  Gorgeous and so NYC appropriate.  I love engagement sessions that are part a little dressy, part a little casual.  So much fun.  I had a blast walking around the Seaport with these guys and I'm beyond excited for their wedding at Brotherhood Winery this summer!  (Jess - can't wait to see your wedding dress!!).

Engagement: Samantha + Tom | South Street Seaport, New York City

I hadn't been down to the Seaport in a really long time, really long.  We used to go all the time when I was a kid and when I lived in the city, but since, I almost forgot about it.  And, I definitely had no clue (again, I have no idea why) as to the all the damage it incurred with Hurricane Sandy!  But, I'm here to say, the Seaport is back and bustling with so many fun things to see and places to walk and shops to visit!  I had an absolute blast with Sam and Tom just walking around, checking everything out and taking fun shots of them.  I'm really pumped for their wedding next year at the Grandview!  It is going to be a fun night for sure!!

Engagement: Tiffany + Erik | Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York

Love these photos.  I met up with Tiffany and Erik at Prospect Park (fun fact: Tim and I used to live there!), and originally, we were going to try and shoot at the Botanical Garden but then decided at the last minute to switch to the Park.  Which...turned out great!  While a cool background is nice, what really matters during these photo shoots is the connection between the two of you.  I could actually shoot an awesome couple in a parking lot, doesn't really matter :).  Tiffany and Erik were great to photograph and I could have posted all their shots here, thats how much I like them!  Looking forward to their wedding this summer!
