Perfect for a Friday post.  Gorgeous little Emma and her gorgeous mama.  And Rich too! We can't forget him!  Such a perfect little family.  I've taken so many photos of these two, but these photos were my most favorite of all -  you can see their engagement, the wedding, and now their little family.  Hope you guys are enjoying her and getting a (tiny) bit of sleep!

Some of you might remember Addy & Aaron's amazing wedding (if not, check it out!), I definitely do and it was a great day.  I was beyond excited when Addy told me they were having a little one and asked me to come over to photograph her.  We weren't sure if the timing was going to work out with my new little guy (post coming soon!), but since he came a little early, we were good to go and I was off to meet the adorable Svea!  And as expected....she was a perfect subject :).

Spring Sneak Peek!

Hey all!  I'm back, and sorry that I left you!  Things really came on full-force after we came back from the Bahamas and I've had 6 shoots in the last 8 days!  Weddings and babies and engagements galore.  So nice that the weather is turning too.  Now everyone doesn't have to be jealous of my awesome Bahamas tan, you can get one yourself :). 

So, even though I'm going to be posting these sessions very soon, I thought I would do a quick sneak peek on the blog today.

Sisters + Cousins

I shot these adorable kids right before the holidays and I haven't had a chance to post them - how cute are they?  It took a lot of wrangling (including me, mom, aunt, and grandma!) to keep a newborn happy, and to get two toddlers to sit next to each other (almost happily :), but imagine looking back at these when they are older...so awesome.  I love family photos.  Have a great day everyone!

Portrait: Kristen + 2

Happy Friday everyone!  Anything good planned for the weekend?  I have a fun wedding to shoot on Sunday, can't wait to show you guys :)

I decided that today is the perfect day to post these photos because well, who doesn't love a friday?) - Meet my friend Kristen!  Kristen and her husband have an adorable little boy that is friends with Sophie and they recently had another little baby boy (so exciting!).  I love shooting maternity photos and was happy to shoot a few maternity photos of Kristen (she looked amazing and these were taken the day before her due date!!) and of course, I was excited to take a few photos of the new little guy.  Poor Kristen watched both Sophie and her older son while I took these (trying to keep three children under 2 quiet and happy [and out of trouble] is definitely more difficult than you might think!!), but I'm so happy that I did.  She just texted me a photo of him yesterday (I took these maybe three weeks or so ago) and he looks so different already.  It makes me so happy to capture these moments.

Monday Updates

Wedding Season begins!  This week is full of shoots - and the weather is just perfect.  I've had a few things rescheuled because of bad weather, so I have two engagment sessions and a wedding this week alone.  I'm so excited to get this season going - I have a ton of great couples and really beautiful locations to share with you guys.

For our last non-wedding weekend (for awhile at least), we headed up to the beach with our friends.  We had the best weather and a really great time (you know you are good friends with people when you can vacation with them :).  Sophie is a beach addict!  Tim had to drag her away from the water even though her clothes were soaked and the water was freezing.

The babies just keep on coming around here too!  I had a session with an adorable little boy (only four days old!) the other day - you can see one of his pics here...and another one below.  Isn't he so cute?  Loving these sessions!


I did some thrifting/antiquing/flea market type shopping with a friend this week and we found THE BEST and most on-trend antique shop ever. Seriously, whoever designed this shop has style for days -- so much inspiration! I wanted to get everything and then grill her for sources :). But, at least I left with some photos...

Ok, two more things for today - I have been meaning to tell you guys about a new wedding inspiration site and online magazine! Bijou is run by a few really great and stylish ladies :), and is a great mix of style, funny, inspiration, trends, and real weddings to check out. Great reading. They put the word out that they are looking for some great stories from either recently married or engaged couples to feature in the online magazine. I thought that our couples would fit in great with the vibe, so if you are interested, drop them a line at bijoubridemag@gmail.com.

They are also looking for opinions on your favorite vendors in the Hudson Valley area - so, if you love any of us (hopefully!), drop them a line and mention your favorites! The survey is for couples and also vendors, so I'll be sending in my list of favorite colleagues too.
